[WASHINGTON, DC] – Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC launched a $140,000 TV buy supporting Beth Doglio, a progressive champion running in Washington’s 10th Congressional District.
The ad, which highlights Doglio’s support of Medicare for All and willingness to stand up to Donald Trump and corporate special interests, begins airing Tuesday, July 14th and will remain on air through the August 4th primary.
“Beth Doglio has spent her career as a community organizer and a state legislator standing up against corporate special interests to deliver progressive change,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal, Mark Pocan, and Jamie Raskin. “Beth is supported by progressive leaders and labor unions across the district, and she isn’t taking a dime in corporate PAC money. From leading the way in the fight against climate change and advocating for Medicare for All to guarantee health care as a right for all Americans, Beth will be a champion for working families in Congress. We’re proud to support her campaign.”

If these times have taught us anything, it’s that we need a congresswoman who will fight for South Sound families. Only Beth Doglio is bringing people together behind Medicare for All, guaranteeing quality healthcare for everyone — with no premiums, deductibles, or copays. And only Beth can get it done, because she’ll stand up to Trump and the corporate special interests. That’s why progressives and half a million union workers back Beth. The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC announced plans earlier this year to invest at least $1 million this cycle to support its endorsed candidates. In June, the PAC launched its first-ever independent expenditure campaign, spending nearly $200,000 on ads supporting Mondaire Jones, who went on to win a heavily contested primary in New York’s 17th Congressional District. The program is one of the only IEs focused solely on supporting progressives running for Congress. Doglio is the second candidate that the PAC’s IE arm has supported this cycle.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC is grassroots-funded, with an average donation of $11.50. The organization does not accept contributions from corporate PACs.
