[WASHINGTON, DC] – Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) PAC announced that Evan Brown has been hired as Political Director.

Until recently, Evan served as Deputy Political Director of End Citizens United, where he helped run an expansive political program that worked with dozens of reform-minded U.S. House and Senate candidates and members of Congress around the country.

Prior to joining ECU, Evan served in senior campaign management and communications roles on targeted Senate, House, Gubernatorial, and local races.

“We are excited to announce Evan Brown as our new Political Director,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC co-chairs Mark Pocan (WI-02), Jamie Raskin (MD-08) and Pramila Jayapal (WA-07). “The CPC PAC is committed to expanding and strengthening the ranks of progressives in Congress in 2020 and beyond. Evan’s extensive experience working on campaigns and within the progressive movement will be critical to helping us meet these goals.”

During the 2018 election cycle, the CPC PAC raised a record $1.95 million from 164,660 contributions, with an average contribution of $11.84, and endorsed its largest slate of candidates ever. Of the 45 candidates endorsed by the CPC PAC, 41 were on the general election ballot in November and 25 won their elections.
