WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced its endorsement of Valerie Foushee, the Democratic nominee in North Carolina’s 4th congressional district.

“I am honored to have the support of the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC. In my 25 years of elected office, I’ve fought for progressive values that make our communities healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable,” said Valerie Foushee. “I look forward to going to Congress and working with the caucus to continue advancing those policies. Now more than ever we must take a stand and fight for our shared progressive values.”

“Valerie Foushee brings a proven record of advocating for North Carolina working families and will be a leader on tackling systemic racism and addressing climate change in Congress,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamie Raskin. “We look forward to working alongside her in Congress to fight for bold progressive change.”

In 2020, the PAC raised $4.4 million and launched its first-ever independent expenditure arm, helping elect eight new candidates to Congress.
