WASHINGTON — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced its endorsement of Sue Altman in the primary for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.

“Sue Altman has an impressive history of working for New Jersey families and taking on corruption to build a government that works for everyone,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Reps. Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal and Jamie Raskin. “From her work to ensure fair funding for every public school student to her role in raising New Jersey’s minimum wage, Sue has demonstrated profound commitment to making it easier for New Jerseyans to raise their families, own their own homes and retire in their own communities. She has served New Jersey well as a teacher, an activist and as a leader. We are proud to endorse her campaign to continue serving her community as a Member of Congress.”

“The CPC has led the charge to end gridlock in Washington, protect freedoms from voting rights to worker rights, and make the federal government work for the people,” said Sue Altman. “This endorsement is more proof that thought leaders in the Democratic Party know our campaign represents the best chance to beat Tom Kean Jr. and take back the House.”

The CPC PAC is the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest Democratic ideological caucus. The CPC PAC exists to elect strong progressive leaders to Congress who share our vision for America’s future and will embody the present and future of the progressive movement. In the 2022 cycle, the CPC PAC raised over $4 million and helped to elect 17 new members to Congress.
