Washington — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced it has endorsed Reverend Frederick Haynes in the March 3rd primary election for Texas’s 30th Congressional District.
“We are excited to endorse pastor and social justice leader Reverend Frederick Haynes,” said CPC PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal, Greg Casar and Maxwell Frost. “Rev. Haynes is a pillar of his community, serving as senior pastor of his church for four decades and growing the church over a hundredfold. Rev. Haynes is running for Congress to champion justice and equality and to make health care, housing, childcare and college more accessible and less costly. He will be a bold progressive leader in Congress and we look forward to Rev. Haynes being a part of our caucus.”

Over the past three election cycles, the CPC PAC has raised over $13 million and invested in progressive candidates across the country. Over the decade, a majority of CPC PAC’s pre-primary endorsements have gone on to win their race in the general election. In 2024, the CPC was the only ideological caucus to send new members to Congress in 50% or more of races in which its affiliated PAC made a pre-primary endorsement.
