CLEVELAND, OHIO – Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC endorsed Nina Turner in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.

Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal, Mark Pocan, and Jamie Raskin released the following statement:

“Nina Turner has been on the front lines of the Progressive Movement elevating policies that will lift up working families across this country. Her impact is unmistakable as she worked tirelessly for all of us, and we are thrilled to announce our endorsement of her candidacy. Nina Turner is a progressive champion who will deliver real results and Ohio’s 11th Congressional District deserves nothing less. We look forward to supporting Nina Turner’s campaign and welcoming her to Washington in November.”

“The work of the Congressional Progressive Caucus has been critical to shaping the direction of this country and I am honored to have their support,” said Nina Turner. “I look forward to working alongside the CPC members to deliver on progressive values with policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. These increasingly popular policies will lift working families, create good paying jobs, and center the poor, working poor and barely middle class by creating opportunity for people who need it most.”

In 2020, the PAC raised $4.4 million and launched its first-ever independent expenditure arm, helping elect eight new candidates to Congress.
