WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced its endorsement of Morgan McGarvey, the Democratic nominee in Kentucky’s 3rd congressional district.

“I couldn’t be more proud to receive the endorsement of the CPC PAC and the support of the members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus,” said Morgan McGarvey. “In the richest country on the planet, there is no reason we can’t provide universal health care, take the lead on fighting the worst effects of global climate change, and ensure that working families have the resources and education they need not just to survive, but to thrive. I can’t wait to join my CPC colleagues in Congress to fight for the nation that people in Louisville and across the country deserve.”

“We are thrilled to support Morgan McGarvey’s candidacy to succeed retiring Rep. John Yarmuth and to represent the people of Louisville in Congress,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamie Raskin. “We look forward to welcoming him to Congress, where we are confident he will hit the ground running by working to build progressive power and find solutions to the problems facing the working families of our nation.”

In 2020, the PAC raised $4.4 million and launched its first-ever independent expenditure arm, helping elect eight new candidates to Congress.
