WASHINGTON — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced its endorsement of California Assemblymember Evan Low for California’s 16th Congressional District.
If elected, Evan Low would be the first Chinese-American, first millennial and first LGBTQ person elected to Congress from the Bay Area.
“Evan Low has broken barriers as the nation’s youngest Asian-American or LGBTQ mayor and as the youngest Asian‐American assemblymember in California history,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamie Raskin. “Evan has a strong record of leadership to protect civil rights, codify reproductive rights and combat xenophobia and nativism. We proudly endorse his campaign and look forward to serving alongside him in Congress.”

The CPC PAC is the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest Democratic ideological caucus. The CPC PAC exists to elect strong progressive leaders to Congress who share our vision for America’s future and will embody the present and future of the progressive movement.
