Washington — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) announced it has endorsed state Representative Chris Rabb in the May 19th primary election for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District.
“Pennsylvania state Representative Chris Rabb is a social justice activist, an educator who helped unionize 1,500 adjunct professors and a legislator who has taken on Republicans and the billionaire class to create a democracy that works for everyone rather than just the wealthy few,” said CPC PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal, Greg Casar and Maxwell Frost. “As a state legislator, Chris was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Climate Caucus, sponsored bills to expand access to health care and housing, and successfully introduced a first-of-its-kind police accountability bill to create a statewide police misconduct database. Chris is rejecting corporate contributions and running on an agenda promoting Medicare for All, a living wage, free transit, universal childcare and green union jobs. Chris is a bold progressive leader and his campaign is movement-driven. We are proud to support his candidacy for Pennsylvania’s 3rd congressional district.”
“I am so honored to be endorsed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC. The CPC is on the frontlines in Congress fighting for the bold and transformative agenda working families need in Philly and across the country,” said Chris Rabb. “We need affordable health care through Medicare for All, real investments in deeply affordable housing, a living wage that helps families keep up with the cost of living, action to abolish ICE and dismantle all immigrant concentration camps, and real oversight that stops Trump’s dangerous wars and U.S. support for the genocide in Gaza. CPC PAC co-chairs Greg Casar, Maxwell Frost and Pramila Jayapal all understand the urgent need for action and I am so proud to have the CPC PAC’s support in our campaign for Congress.”
Over the past three election cycles, the CPC PAC has raised over $13 million and invested in progressive candidates across the country. Over the decade, a majority of CPC PAC’s pre-primary endorsements have gone on to win their race in the general election. In 2024, the CPC was the only ideological caucus to send new members to Congress in 50% or more of races in which its affiliated PAC made a pre-primary endorsement.
