Washington — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) congratulated Analilia Mejia on winning the Democratic nomination for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC and its independent expenditure program are now victorious in all three special primary elections it invested in this cycle, first with Rep. Adelita Grijalva’s 2025 campaign, last week with Rep. Christian Menefee’s campaign, and now with Mejia.
“Democrats in New Jersey’s 11th District have spoken – and we could not be more excited to congratulate Analilia Mejia on her monumental victory, overcoming millions of dollars in outside spending flooding into this race,” said CPC PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal, Greg Casar and Maxwell Frost. “Analilia is a progressive champion who started her career as a union organizer fighting for higher wages and paid sick leave and became a national leader, unafraid to take on entrenched corporate interests and the status quo. Analilia entered this campaign as an underdog, but made it clear she was the candidate who was fighting for working families. This victory marks the third straight primary win for the CPC PAC and the CPC PAC IE this cycle, demonstrating that the American people are looking for bold progressive leaders who understand the stakes in this critical moment for our country. It is now time for all Democrats to unite behind her campaign to stop MAGA Republicans and elect Analilia to Congress.”
The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC and Medicare for All PAC’s independent expenditure arm invested $100,000 in the closing days of the campaign to support Mejia. Outside groups, including those that did not disclose their funding sources, poured millions of dollars into the race for Mejia’s opponents.

The CPC PAC is the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and exists to elect strong progressive leaders to Congress who share our vision for America’s future and will embody the present and future of the progressive movement.
Over the past three election cycles, the CPC PAC has raised over $13 million and invested in progressive candidates across the country. Over the decade, a majority of CPC PAC’s pre-primary endorsements have gone on to win their race in the general election. In 2024, the CPC was the only ideological caucus to send new members to Congress in 50% or more of races in which its affiliated PAC made a pre-primary endorsement.
