WASHINGTON — Today the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) congratulated LaMonica McIver on winning the Democratic nomination to appear on the general election ballot after her victory in the special election primary for New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District.
“We congratulate LaMonica McIver on winning the Democratic nomination in the New Jersey 10th District special election and on becoming the Democratic Party’s nominee for the November general election,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal and Jamie Raskin. “LaMonica is committed to raising the minimum wage, fighting environmental injustice, promoting affordable housing, and expanding access to affordable childcare and early childhood education. We look forward to serving alongside her in Congress, where she will continue to lead as a strong advocate for progressive values.”
The CPC PAC is the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest Democratic ideological caucus. The CPC PAC exists to elect strong progressive leaders to Congress who share our vision for America’s future and will embody the present and future of the progressive movement. In the 2022 cycle, the CPC PAC raised over $4 million and helped to elect 17 new members to Congress.
