Washington, D.C. – June 5th, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC), the political arm of the 78-member Congressional Progressive Caucus, congratulated CPC PAC endorsed candidate Andy Kim on his primary win in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District. Kim will face Republican Tom MacArthur in November.

Andy Kim, a Rhodes Scholar, former Obama national security official, and father of two is running on a strong progressive platform aimed at expanding health care access, lowering prescription drug costs, improving college affordability, and ensuring that every senior can retire with dignity and security. Kim has demonstrated that he will be an independent voice in Congress by funding his grassroots campaign with small dollar contributions and rejecting donations from corporate special interests.

MacArthur has been a loyal Trump supporter in the House of Representatives, backing Trump’s agenda a staggering 94.8 percent of the time according to FiveThirtyEight.com.  Trump lost New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District by 14 percent in 2016.

CPC PAC looks forward to supporting Kim as he builds a strong people-powered operation that will turn this seat blue in November.
