The CPC PAC’s IE arm spent over $360,000 in support of Doglio’s campaign

[WASHINGTON, DC] – The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC today congratulated Beth Doglio on her victory in the jungle primary in Washington’s 10th Congressional District.

CPC PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal, and Jamie Raskin released the following statement:

“Beth Doglio’s victory is a victory for working families. Throughout her career as an advocate, environmental leader, and legislator, Beth has shown that she will be a relentless champion for working people, not special interests or corporations. Beth has helped lead groundbreaking legislation to empower workers and strengthen worker protections, and she is one of the state’s most vocal leaders on the environment, housing, and gun safety. The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC is proud to support Beth’s campaign, and looks forward to helping elect her to Congress in November.”

In mid-July, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC’s IE arm launched a TV ad highlighting Doglio’s record on health care and standing up against corporate special interests. The PAC also ran digital and mail ads in support of Doglio, the total buy amounting to over $360,000.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC announced plans earlier this year to invest at least $1 million this cycle to support its endorsed candidates. In June, the PAC launched its first-ever independent expenditure campaign, spending nearly $200,000 on ads supporting Mondaire Jones, who went on to win a heavily contested primary in New York’s 17th Congressional District. The program is one of the only IEs focused solely on supporting progressives running for Congress. Doglio is the second candidate that the PAC’s IE arm has supported this cycle.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC is grassroots-funded, with an average donation of $11.50. The organization does not accept contributions from corporate PACs.
