WASHINGTON — Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) congratulated nine endorsed progressive candidates on their successful elections to Congress. These Members-elect will join the CPC in January and be a critical part of the caucus’s effort to fight for America’s working families.
“With Donald Trump returning to the White House, strong progressive leadership is more important than ever. We are proud to celebrate the victories of Progressive Caucus swing seat members and endorsed candidates who have won tough races,” said Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC Co-Chairs Mark Pocan, Pramila Jayapal and Jamie Raskin. “Throughout their campaigns, these candidates focused on pressing populist issues like fighting economic and social inequality, expanding access to housing, promoting affordable childcare, protecting civil liberties, strengthening unions, fighting corruption and prioritizing working Americans over corporate elites. Our returning members and our new colleagues will bring principled and effective leadership focused on delivering for our constituents and advancing an agenda that benefits our entire nation.”
As of Tuesday morning, races have been called in favor of nine CPC PAC-endorsed candidates:
- Yassamin Ansari (AZ-03)
- Lateefah Simon (CA-12)
- Luz Rivas (CA-29)
- Laura Friedman (CA-30)
- Dave Min (CA-47)
- Sarah McBride (DE-AL)
- Maxine Dexter (OR-03)
- Nellie Pou (NJ-09)
- LaMonica McIver (NJ-10)

- Mike Levin (CA-49)
- Steven Horsford (NV-04)
- Val Hoyle (OR-04)

The CPC PAC, the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, has raised over $4 million this cycle and sent dozens of new progressives to Congress this decade.
