WASHINGTON, D.C., June 15, 2018 – The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) – the political arm of the 78-member Congressional Progressive Caucus – today announced endorsements in four additional Congressional races, bringing the number of candidates it has endorsed to 28. The latest round of endorsements includes candidates fighting to keep Democratic seats safe and those that have strong campaigns and can flip Republican seats blue.

The candidates endorsed today are:
Katie Hill (CA-25)
Gil Cisneros (CA-39)
Katie Porter (CA-45)
Deb Haaland (NM-01)
Madeleine Dean (PA-04)

Today, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) added Katie Hill (CA-25) and Katie Porter (CA-45) to its list of Red to Blue candidates, as well as Mike Levin (CA-49), Scott Wallace (PA-01), and Susan Wild (PA-07), all five of which are strong progressives and endorsed by CPC PAC.

These five Red to Blue candidates join the following CPC PAC endorsed candidates in the DCCC’s program: Gil Cisneros (CA-39), Debbie Mucarsel Powell (FL-26), Angie Craig (MN-02), Andy Kim (NJ-03), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Aftab Pureval (OH-01), Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23), Lisa Brown (WA-05), and Randy Bryce (WI-01). The strong number of CPC PAC endorsed candidates in the Red to Blue program demonstrates the incredible viability that progressive candidates have of winning in traditionally Republican areas of the country.
