WASHINGTON — CPC PAC Co-Chairs Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), Greg Casar (TX-35), and Maxwell Frost (FL-10) are excited to join our new DNC Chair, Ken Martin, in a party-wide effort to reform and rebrand the Democratic Party in order to rebuild our multiracial base of working class and working poor voters.
“Through our discussions with Ken, we know he shares our vision for a year-round, 50-state strategy that builds power through the state parties. Together, we must establish an authentic Democratic brand that offers a clear alternative and inclusive vision for how we will make life better for the 90% who are struggling in this economy, take on the biggest corporations and wealthiest individuals who have rigged the system, and expose Trump’s corporate favoritism.
“Donald Trump’s billionaire-stacked administration has already undertaken chaotic, cruel, and unconstitutional actions that directly harm the poor and working people of this country, and the Democratic Party must waste no time in taking an aggressive, bold stance in fighting back and presenting a clear contrast.
“That clear contrast begins by rejecting the influence of Big Money in politics. The Democratic Party must show people that we fight for them, not on behalf of dark money donors. We are ready to work with Chair Martin to restructure and reform the DNC’s fundraising to ensure we prioritize fundraising from the 7 million+ grassroots donors who contributed to our campaigns this year, rather than union-busting corporations, lobbyists, or Big Oil executives who do not share our party’s core values.”
